Babe's Chicken Dinner House - Garland: A Taste of Southern Comfort

Food was really great! Our sever was super new but extremely attentive and helpful. My only complaint is we couldn't take the sides home we already had at our table, it just felt like we were wasting foodaswedidntfinish everything. They also had green beans and they straight up tasted burned to all hell lol. I get there are unlimited sides but I do feel it would be okay to take home the ones already on the table and not be able to get more. Otherwise, it truly is a waste. We got fried chicken and it was great. We just got full quickly. Great and timely staff though! Will definitely be back!

We ordered take out this time and it was good. Big serving sizes and delicious crispy chicken or chicken fried steak. The fish fried was great as always

My wife was stung by a wasp while we waited, but Babe’s promptly provided a first aid kit, seated us, and took care of our meal. They even made a fresh batch of chicken and dessert for us, despite us not specifying which chicken. Despite not typically writing reviews, I’ve been a loyal customer for over a decade and would highly recommend Babe’s for its warm atmosphere and delicious food.

As always the food was excellent!!!!! Our table had smoked chicken, fried chicken, and catfish! All were fantastic! The salad and side as always are to die for. Endless refills on those sides. Oh don’t forget the biscuits, keep em coming. Got banana pudding to go because I’m about to POP! Brayden was on top of drink and food refills all evening. This guy earned his tip!!!! Music was great. We will be back! Only thing I’m sorry about is my picture. Forgot to get one before we dug in!!!!!!!!

First time here and it didn't disappoint! In fact, it was awesome! They have 5 choices for meat: fried chicken, chicken tenders, cf steak, smoked chicken, and catfish. All the sides are bottomless and served family-style. The food is delicious and service was great. Definitely want to come back here the next time we're in the area!

We recently ordered catering from Babe's Chicken Dinner House, and the entire process was incredibly easy and smooth! From the start, Sarah was so helpful—she answered all my questions, guided me through the menu, and made sure every detail was covered. Even when our event date had to change, she handled it with such professionalism and kindness. The food was absolutely delicious—our team loved it! There were no leftovers because everyone went back for seconds. We’ll definitely be using them again, and I highly recommend them to anyone planning a catered event. We ate at this location in December and had a great experience! In traditional Babes fashion, their maximalist Christmas decor just enhanced our dining experience. The iced tea was fresh and flowing with frequent refills. Fried chicken was great - breading not too thick, perfect with honey. Sides were perfect! Service was great! Overall a great night out!
